Cool and crisp fall nights are not that far away, which means that it's not too early to sign up for October's Ghosts of Lincoln bus tours.
Monday is the official ticket launch for the annual Ghosts of Lincoln bus tours -- 15 nights in October 2015.
The place to get tickets is A Novel Idea bookstore, 118 N. 14th St. Doors open at 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. or until sold out.
Last year the ticket line stretched down the block and around the corner at 10 a.m. This year organizer Scott Colborn will be there at 8 a.m. with free coffee and doughnut holes for the early birds.
Two types of buses will be available this year -- the regular white school bus with A/C, $15 plus tax per ticket; and a deluxe motorcoach with bathroom, A/C, bigger and more comfortable seats, and space on each motorcoach for two individuals using wheel chairs, $22 plus tax per ticket.
Scheduled are 13 nights in October for the white bus; two nights for the deluxe motorcoach.
The 50-seat white bus will head out for tours on Oct. 5-8, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29.
The 42-seat deluxe motorcoach with wheelchair accommodation will run Oct. 13 and 27.
