On Sunday, I wrote how a CBS spokesperson told me there was no Nebraska connection to the hit comedy, "The Big Bang Theory," which aired an episode Monday called "The Cornhusker Vortex."

Lo and behold, there is one.

Executive producer Lee Aronsohn lived in Lincoln in the mid-1970s. He opened Trade-A-Tape Comic Center.

Thanks to readers Scott Stewart and Larry Lorenz (Trade-A-Tape's current owner) for the heads-up. I just knew there had be something there.

In 1977, Lorenz bought Trade-A-Tape from Aronsohn, who moved to California and has worked in television since. Aronsohn also is part of the "Two and Half Men" team. I hope to track down Aronsohn for a future story soon.
