The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Undergraduate Women in Business student organization is hosting the Innovation and the Future of Work Conference. The conference includes multiple sessions and a luncheon, and is open to students, young professionals and members of the business community.
This year’s keynote speaker is Suji Park, Founder of Food Dreams Made Real, and Suji’s Cuisine USA. Suji Park is the global CEO for both Food Dreams Made Real and Suji’s Cuisine. A unique kind of entrepreneur, she has spent much of the past 20 years empowering people and delivering cross-cultural taste experiences.
Park began her executive career when she started a software company in Seoul in her late twenties. Soon after she set out to fulfill her passion for food and the food business. Her culinary journey included self-teaching and more formal training at the French Culinary Institute. She led three restaurants in Seoul, Tokyo and the U.S. Embassy in Japan, and started three food development companies producing convenient, all-natural foods from Korea, Japan and the United States for easy preparation at home.
She and her team moved from Seoul to the heartland of America – Omaha, Nebraska, the “Silicon Valley of packaged foods” as they like to call it. Together with the world’s top food experts, Park has worked tirelessly to create an authentic, all-natural line of convenient Korean food offerings with no added preservatives or MSG.
