A new exhibit recognizing the Great Depression Era started January 6 at the Bess Streeter Aldrich House in Elmwood. In spite of the Depression Era being a tough period in America's history, some beautiful items were created; the house is decorated with depression glass, an apron collection, vintage quilts, banking equipment and documents, a shaving kit collection, and many other period pieces. Don't miss this exhibit that will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. every weekend (Saturday-Sunday) through February.
