An exhibit that tells the story of the first five years of African Poetry Book Fund (APBF) will be on display until May 4 on the second floor of Love Library North. The interactive exhibit offers insight into the massive scope of the APBF’s work and all that it has accomplished to change the landscape of poetry throughout five different African nations and to promote and advance African poetry worldwide. 

The African Poetry Book Fund was founded and is directed by renowned poet and UNL Professor of English Kwame Dawes.The exhibit is curated by University Libraries Professor Lorna Dawes and features the work of award-winning artist Walter Kitundi.
