After 30 years in business in Lincoln, Rothchild's Clothing is closing for good.
According to an ad that's been running in the Journal Star, the men's clothing store at 48th and O has been closed since Sunday and will reopen Wednesday to sell off the remaining inventory. It will close no later than Dec. 30.
It's unfortunate to see it close, but it seems like Lincoln has done a better job than most cities at supporting independent clothing stores. The Post & Nickel and Knights Clothing are two that come to mind.
