Planet Sub near 14th and P has closed, although a sign inside its lobby says its location at the UNL student union remains open. That's at least the fourth downtown restaurant in about three weeks to shut its doors.

Now, the good news is, I've heard a couple of different rumors regarding what might happen with that business and that space. One is that Planet Sub may be looking for another downtown location, possibly in the cursed O Street block between 14th and Centennial Mall. The other is that Sam & Louie's Pizza might be looking at the Planet Sub space.
