The Austad's golf store that closed last year at SouthPointe Pavilions to facilitate building of the new, bigger Scheels is going to reopen across the street.

Austad's will reopen in a space next to Petsmart sometime next month in the Southridge Village strip mall that is directly south of SouthPointe.

A building permit filed Thursday indicates the Tradehome Shoes store at Gateway Mall will be moving.

Tradehome currently is in suite 512 at Gateway, which is just a couple of spaces away from JC Penney. According to the permit, it is moving to Suite 294, which is next door to Forever 21 on the south side of the mall.

According to another building permit filed earlier this month, the former Blockbuster space at 16th and South streets, which has been vacant for three years, may be getting a new tenant.

The permit filed Feb. 3 indicates half the space will be hosting an AT&T Wireless store. An AT&T Wireless spokesman, however, said the company was still evaluating sites for a new Lincoln store and a decision had not been made yet.
