Greeley-Wolbach trounces St. Edward in 6-man final
KEARNEY — Greeley-Wolbach took control early and never looked back en route to a 67-24 victory against St. Edward on Thursday in the six-man football state championship.
The Titans, who had defeated St. Edward 20-12 earlier this season, finished 10-0, while St. Edward fell to 8-3.
Senior quarterback Trent Nekoliczak sparked Greeley-Wolbach with 143 yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns. He added 184 yards on 13-of-17 passing and three more scores. On defense, he had three interceptions.
