Football glance, 10/11: Benal leads Neumann over Lutheran

Tyler Benal scored four touchdowns to lead Bishop Neumann in a 47-19 Class C-1 win at Abel Stadium.
The Cavaliers rushed 45 times as a team for 420 yards. Four interceptions hurt the Warriors, who trailed by only eight at halftime after Isiah Bockelman’s 99-yard interception return on the last play of the second quarter.
LINCOLN CHRISTIAN 34, SOUTHERN 0: Lincoln Christian dominated the line of scrimmage, rushing for 186 yards and limiting Southern to just 97 yards of total offense. Devin Paulsen led the offense with 119 passing yards on a 9-for-11 night. Wes Negley led the Crusaders in rushing yards witth 73. Christian forced four Southern turnovers.
Class A
OMAHA NORTH 42, MILLARD NORTH 28: Omaha North running back Bryant Giles rushed 21 times for 291 yards and four scores.
Teammate Ron Coleman also helped carry the offensive load, rushing 18 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns at the No. 6-ranked Vikings improved to 6-1.
Class B
McCOOK 49, LEXINGTON 17: Andy Smith carried for 138 yards on 17 carries to lead the No. 1 Bison against 5-2 Lexington. Quarterback Matt Berry scored two early rushing touchdowns and accounted for 204 yards. McCook racked up 457 yards of total offense and held Lexington to just 156.
CRETE 48, NORRIS 6: No. 8-ranked Crete scored two defensive touchdowns and had three scoring runs of over 40 yards against the Titans.
