LINCOLN PIUS X 3, AURORA 0: Allie Falter’s 15 kills and two ace blocks led Class B No. 1 Lincoln Pius X to a convincing 25-15, 25-21, 25-12 volleyball victory against fifth-ranked Aurora at Bishop Flavin Gym on Thursday night.

Natalie Braun added 11 kills and 16 digs for the Thunderbolts (18-1), while Super-State setter Lauren Cook contributed five kills, 32 assists and 13 digs.

“Everything we’ve been working on this week (in practice) we did very well,” Pius X coach Jake Moore said.

Aurora (13-5) was paced by Shelby Gowen and Josey Nunnenkamp with nine and seven kills, respectively, and Kaci Hixson’s 20 assists.
