" When will the discussions start to move the Lancaster Co. Fair out of the County. It seems Lincoln has gotten rid or tried to get rid of all revenue gaining events "

" what we need to do is make the county bigger if people dont want state hear I was in 4-h for 11 years our county fair has tons of FFA and 4-Hers but not many people, the rides are a joke why dont we get some big time country singer like other ne county fairs we need to advertize more. "

" Kevin: the county fair wont get moved until the University decides they want that land, too. After all, its all about the university, not the people "

" The state fair will still be in the state Kevin. I do believe the current county fair location is to close to the town and will be surrounded in the near future. It is only natural the Lincoln and Waverly grow together, plus there is the new highway to be built between too. "

" The display area at the county fair is so much nicer then at state. I'm sure Lancaster believes they can replace a lot of the state fair in the future. Still there isn't alot of interest to city folks except for the rides and shows. Some NON country singers would help. "

" My daughter's 4-H group, Shimmering Shamrocks, are doing their last county fair after being named best in Lancaster five years straight. Started out at the old state fair grounds and have seen the fair improve every summer. "

" Car racing at the County fair? It might disturb the Lama's. "

" The county fair has always been *better* than the State Fair, imho. When the state fair is gone (officially) they can advertise more and get more people out there. Free admission, free parking. Stick it, State Fair. "
