Strong thunderstorms with the ability to produce gusty winds, hail and heavy rain were likely, and flooding was a concern in areas where the ground was already very wet from heavy rainfalls. Lincoln had received 1.34 inches of rain between Thursday and Friday morning, and flooding already had begun in some streams, particularly in the Blue River basin.
