Does anyone know how sweet potato fries are made? Are they made like fried potatoes are cut like french fries?
— Betty Burklund, Geneva
Does anyone have recipes for fried chicken like the Red Rooster in Lincoln and onion rings like Parker's Steak House in Denton once served? They were both DEEEElicious!
— Jodie Gomez, Greenwood
I grew up going to the Wendelin's Bakery on about 17th and South streets. They had the most incredible donuts, cakes and bread that I have ever eaten. I have since moved away from Lincoln, but visit often. I am trying to find the recipe for Wendelin's chocolate frosting. If anyone has this delicious recipe, please send it to me. I would love to keep the flavor alive!

Nina Rohlfs of Unadilla sent in a frosting recipe. She writes: "This ultra-simple, rich and fudgy chocolate frosting is a favorite with my grandkids. Simply mix ¼ cup sour cream to 1 cup chocolate chips, and heat in microwave until warm. Stir to melt chips and quickly frost cake, brownies, or whatever. This recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc. with no problem.”
