LINCOLN EAST 5, NORTHEAST 2: Cam Adams had two hits and two RBIs, and Lincoln East used a four-run fourth inning to beat the Rockets.
SOUTHEAST 2, MILLARD SOUTH 0: Southeast’s Jake Kuebler threw a complete-game one-hitter and had 15 strikeouts in the Monarch Invitational in Papillion.
LINCOLN HIGH 7, NORTHEAST 2: Jeremy Philippi struck out four in the complete-game victory for the Links. Eric McVicker was 2-for-3 with a double, triple and four RBIs.
LINCOLN PIUS X 11-4, NORTH STAR 2-5: In game one, Pius’ Patrick Essay and Alex Heideman had three hits each while Tim Tlanka stroked a two-run homer and knocked in three runs. In the second game, North Star’s Ricky Ideus recorded 10 strikeouts and pitched all eight innings. In the bottom of the eighth in game two, Zach klapaperich hit a game-winning RBI double.
