I was wondering if anyone knows the recipe or knows where I can purchase the red sauce that USA Steak Buffet offers for their grilled chicken breast. It's so good; tastes maybe like a sweet/sour sauce.

I love Grisanti’s. It is my ultimate favorite restaurant. I was wondering if anyone knew the recipe for the salad and dressing that they put on it. It is wonderful.

Mary responded by e-mail to an earlier frosting request from Gerry in Dwight. She writes:

“I googled the ‘Better Creme’ frosting mentioned in Recipe Box. (One name for the frosting is ‘Rich's Bettercreme.’) A Wilton forum contributor provides this Web site for purchasing it: http://www.sugarcraft.com/catalog/misc/icings.htm, which has 1-quart containers of ‘Rich's Bettercreme’ vanilla frosting for $7.39 OR 1-gallon containers for $28.25.

They have strict guidelines for shipping it, and those costs would be additional.

This frosting base apparently has different name(s), ‘Pastry Pride’ or ‘Frostin' Pride,’ in different parts of the U.S.  See http://www.doitwithicing.com/recipeDetail.asp?id=6, which also has tips for using this product. The latter site says 1 quart is barely enough to ice a full-sheet cake, which, if true, would make it a very expensive frosting. Perhaps the local stores who use it would sell it for less.”
