If you’ve ever been disappointed by what’s inside a frozen pastry package that won’t be the case with the new Dulce De Leche Roulade. Its packaging see-through window gives the consumer a good look at the “rolled” pastry within.

What: Dulce De Leche Roulade, baked in Omaha by the James Skinner Baking Company, is fancy enough to serve for special occasions when you feel like leaving the baking to someone else.

It features carmel cream cheese icing, moist raisins, malted barley granules, sugar glaze and all-butter Danish dough, with 9 grams or sugar per serving and  0 grams trans fat. And it’s   kosher.

Where: Available at Hy-Vee in the frozen pastry section

Cost: $7.99 for a 12-ounce package that contains a minimum of six servings.
