Hoping to rebound from a tough loss Tuesday at Iowa State, the Nebraska softball team (17-21, 1-8) returns home to host the Cyclones today at 5 p.m. Iowa State (26-19, 3-6) has never won at Bowlin Stadium.
* TRACK AND FIELD: The Husker men and women will take part in three different tournaments this weekend. Several Huskers are in Lawrence, Kan., for the Kansas Relays. Others will head to Walnut, Calif., for the Mt. SAC Relays. The final stop for the teams is the Doane Relays in Crete on Friday and Saturday.
* BASKETBALL: Ticket applications for next year’s NCAA Men’s Tournament first- and second-round games in Kansas City, Mo., are now available at www.ncaa.com/tickets.
