Cesar Arangruen belted a two-run home run in the bottom of the second to give Pensacola the lead and the Pelicans added two more runs in the third en route to a 5-2 victory Sunday against the Lincoln Saltdogs in an American Association game in Pensacola, Fla.

The Saltdogs, now 1-3 on the season, took the lead in the first inning when lead-off batter Jonny Kaplan doubled, stole third and scored on a throwing error by Pensacola catcher Dylan Parzyk.

Pensacola took the lead for good in the home half of the second. Billy Cox led off with a walk and scored on Aranguren's homer.

The Saltdogs look to rebound tonight when they play the Fort Worth Cats at 7:05 p.m. in Fort Worth, Texas, to open a three-game series.
