Three men accused of beating a Plattsmouth man with baseball bats on his front porch on Sept. 9, 2007, will face June trials.

Travis Meisinger, 18; Anthony E. Houchin, 17; and Joshua S. Hauschild, 21, all of Weeping Water, had been scheduled for jury trials to start Tuesday in Cass County District Court.

Cass County Attorney Nathan Cox and attorneys for the men filed joint motions to continue the jury trials for the men.  A district judge recently approved the motions and set a new trial date of 9 a.m. June 10.

They are accused of beating Tony Premo Sr. as he walked out the door of his home to investigate a disturbance.

Authorities say the attack was related to a fight between groups of young people from Weeping Water and Plattsmouth.
