Jenny Miller, Omaha: “They played their hearts out. It was such a great game. It was so exciting and we might move up to (No. 16) in the polls now.”

Dan Gabehart, Waterloo: “Today’s game is a cause of celebration. We pulled it out in the end. We had some problems in the second half, but we kicked butt in the first.”

Dan Carstensen, Lincoln: “It’s a cause of concern. We didn’t show up in the second half. It’s a little scary. We have a long way to go.”

Brett Landstrom, Lincoln: “Our pass defense is so bad. I can cover people better than Cortney Grixby.  He might be the worst corner we’ve ever had.”
